Use of our Site includes accessing, browsing, or registering as a user. Users may register as either a Job Poster (posting jobs) or a Job Seeker (responding to jobs).

By using our Site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, you must not use our Site.

6. Accessing Our Site

Most of our Site is available free of charge, though some functionality requires registration.

To register as a user of the WorkLocally platform you must be at least 16 years of age.

We do not guarantee that our Site will always be available or uninterrupted. Access to our Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict availability without notice.

Our Site is directed primarily to people residing in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

7. Your Account and Password

If you choose or are provided with a user identification code, password or other security information, you must treat such information as confidential and must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any account if we believe you have failed to comply with these terms.

8. Platform Role

WorkLocally provides an online marketplace that connects Job Posters with Job Seekers.

When a Job Poster accepts a quote from a Job Seeker, a contract arises directly between those parties. WorkLocally is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the performance of any job or the behaviour of any user.

Users should carry out their own due diligence before entering into agreements with other users of the platform.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Site and its content.

You may print or download extracts of pages from the Site for personal use only.

Users who upload content to the Site grant WorkLocally a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for the operation and promotion of the platform.

10. No Reliance on Information

The content on our Site is provided for general information only and is not intended to constitute professional advice.

Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our Site up to date, we make no guarantees that it is accurate, complete or current.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • disputes between Job Posters and Job Seekers
  • the quality of work performed
  • loss of profits, business or revenue
  • indirect or consequential losses

  • does not infringe the rights of others
  • is not abusive, defamatory, or misleading
